What is Cluey Plus?

Cluey Plus is an online learning platform for students in Years 2–12. It gives students always-on homework and study support - video lessons, guided practice, smart study tools for exam prep and safe AI assistance - so they can keep learning momentum in between (or without) tutoring sessions. It's built by Cluey Learning, the leading Australian tutoring company families already know.

Which year levels is Cluey Plus suited for?

Every year from 2 to 12, with two tailored experiences. Years 2–10 focuses on homework help and building real understanding. Years 11–12 shifts to senior study, revision and exam preparation. You choose the year level when you sign up.

What's included in Cluey Plus?

For Years 2–10: Ask a Question, Video Lessons, Guided Practice, and Take a Quiz, across Maths & English. For Years 11–12: Practice Exams, Review My Work (essay feedback before submitting), Take a Quiz, Ask a Question and coverage across English, Maths and senior Sciences.

Is the AI safe for my child to use?

Yes - Cluey Plus has safety guardrails within the AI support and is designed specifically for learning, it's not a general chatbot. It's built to guide students through the school syllabus, rather than expose them to the open internet.

Will it just give them the answers?

No, and that's the point. Ask a Question offers hints without handing over the answer, and our study tools give real feedback as each student works. It's designed to build understanding and independence - so they learn how to get there, not just what the answer is.

How is this different from ChatGPT or free AI tools?

Generic AI tools will answer almost anything, often incorrectly and rarely in line with what is actually taught at school. If I am already a Cluey tutoring customer, do I pay for Cluey Plus?

No - Cluey Plus is included free of charge for customers enrolled in tutoring.

When can we use Cluey Plus?

Whenever it suits your schedule. Cluey Plus is always on, so students can log in around school, activities and family life. It's available 24/7 - after dinner, on the weekend, or the night before an assessment.
